Well, where to start.
I guess first I'll just tell you all I'm leaving rappelz. I deleted it a few minutes ago, along with the rest of my installed games.
Reasons are, I was losing sight of all that is really important. Computer gaming is just not important, as soon as you log out you are no different than when you logged in, and all those hours are completely, 100% wasted. It's entertainment true enough, but it's such a short-sighted remedy to a lack of happiness. For some people, that's fine. For me, I have better things to do with my life.
There is not much more to say, video games were ruining my life, and I am leaving. Most of the time everyone is just swearing at each other and "this person pked this person so now we're gonna get this friend to get them back haha you nub!" "dude I'm getting no xp with your stupidity" "hahaha I'm so much better than you you suck" it's all just so incredibly pointless. Don't get me wrong sometimes, especially in rappelz in GUARDIANS, the game can be very fun. But even if I were to become the highest lvl in the game with all pets full OB and beat every single person in pvp, what does that honestly mean? Fame and fortune in a fantasy land. Some medal or title that has no meaning outside of a non-existant infatuation of our imaginations which is not tangible.
My dear friends, it somewhat pains me to leave you, even though I never really knew you. Do know I will remember my time in rappelz with a good group of friendly people.
