This will be the list of running applications that I copy from the official forums. I will repost them here so people don't have to check both forums every day. The question set I have right now is this:

1) What is your class and level?

2) On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being the lowest and 10 the highest), where do you feel you are in terms of DPs?

3) On a scale of 1 to 10(1 being the lowest and 10 the highest), where do you feel you are in terms of PvP?

4) Why do you want to join GUARDIANS?

5) Tell us something about yourself.


APPLICATION 1

Name: shiningwhitedove

1) i am a lvl 49 breeder, jlvl 40, and i also have a lvl 27 holy warrior, jlvl 20-25, cant remember. neither are in a guild.

2) i would say a 7, i can dd and i can pet buff, i almost never die unless i pull aggro with my pet, which is like once in a blue moon.

3) i would say maybe a 5, i dont have many attack skills. but i do have a number of effect skills.

4) i want to join the Guardians guild because i love playing this game, and its nice to help ppl out and to get helped. i like helping

5) i am a nice person. but if you mess with me, i will go off like a volcano if you make me. which is almost never, so you will hardly ever see me get mad.

For me the application sounds real nice... I'd be happy to welcome even if level might be a lil low but im sure that can change fast ^^

I like the way Lamdori thinks. He/She seems to have a grasp on what it takes to play this game. They also know exacltly where they want to take their char in 2nd job. The attitude will go away once he/she gets to know the people in guild me thinks. As far as level, well, it sounds like he/she plays on a regular basis but takes a little time off here and there kinda like the rest of us. Getting to 50 should be no problem if this player commits to getting there quickly. All in all, I think this is the type of player that we should recruit and see how it goes, we can always kick them later if it does not work. Maybe tell any new recruits that there is an informal 30 day probationary period that they need to go through or something along those lines. ;D

Good questions Plat. I might reword the ones with the 1-10 scale and be a liitle more specific on what you want to be rated on. For example: "On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate your knowledge/skill of what your class's role in a DP is? Or how would you rate you knowledge on how a good DP operates?" something along those lines. I'd also personally like to see a question about how often they play and at what times so we can get an idea of who is on around that time and set up some sort of mentor with them from the beginning.

Slightly off-topic: Wow I can't believe you found that post in the Guilds forum O.O Kudos to you for digging it out lol.

I think you've got the principles down pretty good. As of now, we're short of people who play a whole lot, but usually there's 7-14 of us hanging around. Most of the officers don't come to the forums much, besides me and my sister, but I'll pass the message on.
