Good morning folks. Its my birthday today and I wondered why it doesnt show up in the "Birthday-List". So I took a look at my profile and its all correct I thought. "03.02". In germany you usually write the day first, then the month, and then the year. I guess its different in America  So could any mod or admin pls change my birth date? I don't know how to do that. ;D |

hahaha swiffy where did your english teacher come from? xD yeah i had to change that too when i came back to US from indonesia we also do date/month/year there lol america always try to be different lol;; but most of all, Happy Birthday bro  i'll wait for my present bro |

i dunno my english teacher was like 'this is how i did it in college. god i dont know why all the other teachers do month/date/year because requirements say you have to do date month year' but hes weird......like he has this train tattoo that looks like a straw hut but hes geting married on august 8 this year at 8am ahhaha too cute xD ok that was random. (i actually wrote date/month/year first in that post...then had to edit it :/) |

It's true. The ONLY good thing about feet/inches is everything is divisible by 2, 3, and 4 (as well as any combination of those i.e. 2x3 is 6 and everything is divisible by 6, 3x4 is 12 everything is divisible by 12, yea you get the drift I think). Metric is only divisible by 2, 4 and 5. So it's a toss-up between if you want divisible by 5 or divisible by 3. However, I wish America was metric too. 'Cause everything in metric is just so organized and has so much more rhyme/reason to it.
Oh, and you forgot something in that statement Dee. I'll finish it for you:
"America always tries to be different, but ends up screwing everything up and trying to change everyone else so they don't look bad."

i still don't see the significance of being divisible by 3 because using the customary measurement system means you have strange bases whereas in the metric system everything is in base 10.

Well I say everyone just switch to hexadecimal. Honestly, it makes sooooooo much more sense than base 10. Still not divisible by 3 but I don't really care about that, I was just mentioning that it was useful SOMEtimes.

Sorry for beeing late... and in germany its day/month/year... so almost the entire planet's format is so horribly wrong Its not your fault caster... its the unlogical world's fault Only day/month/year makes sense, thats a pure fact (sorry too much coffein xD). *edit* lol i forgot why i posted here...
