i just saw
Stranger than Fiction
The Illusionist
The Prestige
favorite of 3, Illusionist, least favorite, Prestige
illusionist is this nice person that does illusions/magic tricks to fool people's eyes and minds what i like about it is the more down to earth, realism of the stories
i really enjoyed stranger than fiction, more than i thought i would in the beginning you feel the story would be some comedy type movie towards the middle of it, you start to wonder more of how harold's (the main char) is going to be, what his next day gonna be, what's gonna happen to him in the next hour~ then the ending i thought it's nice gives us good feeling
as for prestige, it's cool i mean i feel they don't do quite as much magic tricks as i hope to but i guess too much of it will feel like carnival instead lol but i left with unease feeling heh;;

It was an interesting film... But I don't think it lived up to it's potential. Expect a decent amount of disturbing violence.

Ye Pan's labyrinth is a little violent... just a little... but the story is great and i loved it... even if i watched it in french instead of italian.... And btw it's violent because it's rated as horror.....

the whole mashing the kids face in with the bottle was just a bit much for me. I realize the film was attempting to demonstrate man's viciousness/inhumanity to man... But that scene and the shooting of the girl at the end was just a bit too much for me. I spent probably half the film just thinking about how I could kill the Captain. XD That poor doctor. T.T
