Well, technically it's |x|>1... as for philosophy it's kinda like that... except we might not really exist after all. Ok yea I don't think I can expand on the formula any more to make it more specific. You have me beat. No, our conscience does exist. That can be proven by basic deduction. Are you reading this? It doesn't mean these words exist, it doesn't mean you're reading anything, but it does mean your conscience exists because you percieve you are reading this. Also, here's an interesting notion for you. It could be that nothing else exists except for our conscience, because we can't prove that anything else does exist right? Take this side of the coin. We can't prove that anything else doesn't exist. So there are 2 options. Either everything else exists, or nothing else exists. I bet really we're a bunch of Rappelzians sitting in Horizen who are so deep in imagination that we percieve ourselves in this world. And when we play Rappelz, it comes full circle and we become who we truly are. Actually, I don't bet that, that's pretty ridiculus, and if that's the case, I'm screwed cause I quit playing.

Isn't that Descartes? "I am therefore I exist?" He said something like that, and made some long boring argument trying to prove it. Still, I'm not sure if an existing conscience isn't some byproduct of something else that exists? For example, I only know that I exist, and don't know if you exist. You know that you exist and don't know that I exist. Thus, in the sense of "we", neither of us truly exists because neither of us knows the existence of the other.

Not exactly. It's not that we don't know the other exists, it's that we can't prove it. Just because it can't be proven, does not mean it's not true. False is the opposite of true. Because nothing can really ever be proven, everything is not true and that doesn't make sense because if there's no true, there's no false. If you don't have either, you basically have nothing. Thus, everything = nothing and nothing = everything, or everything exists a certain way and we either don't understand it or misinterpret it. The latter makes more sense to me
