*basks* too
You guys are awesome. I have tried removing all the drivers the blue screen still comes up. I can't even access command prompt. I'll try to get my hands on the Windows installation CD and try a repair install.
I have no idea how this problem came up, I remember my PC restarting occasionally but it's always ok after a few restarts. I didn't install anything new during that time, just playing rappelz, lol.

Oh, one more thing to check, make sure you can access the BIOS before you hunt for the disks. If you can get into BIOS, the disks will fix it, but if not, you'll need a new mobo.

Before you go investing money in any new hardware, unless you really want to, I would recommend trying to get to the bottom of the BSOD. Not an easy task at all, but worth a try and I'll help as much as possible.

lol, sorry guys I have no idea what BIOS, mobo and BSOD means, they're all Klingon to me Update: I got my hands on Windows Installation CD hooray..... but guess what the CD ROM couldn't detect anything, lol Anyway I got a moderately juiced up laptop for the time being Intel Core 2 Duo 2.1GHz, 4G SDRAM with 128RAM NVIDIA graphic card finally finished installing Rappelz and keeping its patches up to date. It's a Vista and i'm not liking it I have no idea why there are so many programs running in the background. I can't end process them and it slows the performance down. I mean, sometimes I listen to music while playing Rappelz and it slows and sound all weird.

is it vista x64? cause that I hear is really buggy. At any rate, I can run itunes+rappelz pretty well so maybe it's something with the configs.

I run Vista Ultimate 64 and it kicks ass (jutt the sound management sucks on vista...) But the 32bit vista versions really stink mostly.... and why buy a new OS that should prepare for a 64bit future if you run is the lousy 32bit version? Better keep XP then - thats the better choice... my 2 cents =P

I checked, it's a 32 bit vista. I'm considering of downgrading it to Windows XP (pirated version arrrrr). I'm actually a little disappointed I spent 3.4K on this laptop and it couldn't play games like Fallout 3 with ultra high settings... You guys still haven't explained to me what these BIOS, BSOD and mobo are and how I can salvage my old pc. It's got a lot of music and videos that I took quite some time to collect

Oh if that's all then take out the hard drive and plug it in as slave in a different computer. The OS won't boot, so you can xfer all your files that way.

BIOS is Basic Input Output System and controls your computer at the most basic hardware level. Basically when you turn the computer on the BIOS is the very first thing that loads. BSOD is Microsoft's infamous Blue Screen Of Death. When Windows crashes and reboots you may find yourself presented with an all blue screen with white letters giving you a very unclear message of what went wrong. Mobo is short for motherboard which is the main logic board in every computer and is what connects that many components together.

btw rappelz doesn't call you medudeate anymore T_T I really hope that you're joking.... I always get a laugh when someone tries to say my name for the first time and can't, then is like wtf... Besides, now how am I supposed to get out of chipping... before I could just tell them that if they could say my name then I would chip. This is a very sad day for Medi
