hi guys, i recently downloaded Fraps but it only limits the video recordings to 30 seconds, does anyone know how to combine the 30 second videos to make a longer one?  |

1. you could buy the full version of fraps
2. you could use a program like nero or windows movie maker to splice things together.

i believe i have the full version of fraps somewhere that is cracked so anyone can use it and it is small enough to email so if you want it let me know and no need to tell me your email i can just look at it in the members area seeing i'm admin

By the way, it seems frap made videos can't be uploaded to YouTube for some reason and they're quite huge as well. 30sec videos goes to about 200MB.

fraps videos are uncompressed. You need to download virtualdub and the divx codecs to compress them into a manageable size.

thanks demonic, it's working fine but I have no idea why there's no sound even though I turned Record Sound option on.

VirtualDub looks complicated I don't even know how it works in compressing files, still reading through the help but I am such a noob lol, anyway I found the DivX installer on the main website it says it's only 15 day trial.
edit: I have installed DivX codec and they're working, thanks plat!
however i found out that it doesn't compress video files of 1024x768 screen size.
